Steve, you’ve been one of the leading voices in the hemp industry since 2016 – can you share with our community a little about yourself, and how you started Steve’s Goods?
Response from Steve >> I grew up thinking cannabis was bad after getting expelled from my high school freshmen year over some pot brownies. After moving to Colorado, I learned all the benefits of hemp, and wanted to share this information with anyone that wanted to listen; so I took to the streets with my little red wagon, and a hemp plant to show people it isn’t so scary. I talked to so many people about hemp and how they’re thankful they have access to marijuana in Colorado, but no one knew where to get CBD oil even in Colorado back in 2017. I took it upon myself to launch a website, and make it easily accessible for people in any state.
We love your mission… to share the health benefits of Hemp, and become a trusted source of education, and high-quality prices at fair prices – with respect to the trusted source of education, what are some of the most common questions that you and your staff receive?
Response from Steve >> We often hear — how do you use the CBD concentrates? Or, will this help me with my illness. We haven’t been afraid to try new things, and offer people experiences they might not be able to find anywhere else like our CBG ceremonies where we gave over 1000 people a CBG Dab for free to see how it made them feel. Getting direct feedback from people that are curious hemp for a variety of reasons, paired with current research articles is how we stay on forefront of the industry.
From your perspective, what are the primary areas that create differentiation for Steve’s Goods vs the competitive landscape?
Response from Steve >> Steve’s Goods is all about minor cannabinoids like CBG, CBN, and CBC, and we plan to do many different things with these cannabinoids in our formulations. The great part about owning a hemp company is they’re so many new, and yet to be discovered cannabinoids that are all legal for us to use in our formulations.
I understand that 100% of your hemp is sourced locally in Colorado, with that in mind – can you share any insights related to your process for testing?
Response from Steve >> We’ve always had great testing standards with third-party labs to verify potency and purity for all of our products. Most companies don’t even put the lab report on their website, and most of the time, it is because they don’t have one because they bought it from someone else, and they didn’t want to pay for the test. We spare no expense with testing, and spend about $50k per year ensuring that we have the purest cbd products and cbg products on the market.
Your blog centered-on Hemp Education is incredibly helpful… what industry resources do you consistently follow?
Response from Steve >> We do a lot of independent research, and we can only trust private and government research and base most our information off of that information and studies.
In your opinion, what segment of the hemp market is most exciting for Steve’s Goods?
Response from Steve >> We’re most excited about our new cannabinoids and formulations like Day and Night CBG/CBN gummies, as well as formulating products with cannabinoids like CBN. We just released our CBN gummies with 5mg of CBN to assist with sleeping at night. CBN is getting some attention right now for being more effective than melatonin.
Can you share our readers, what are your favorite products, and why they are?
Response from Steve >> Our CBG Oil is my favorite product, and we make our own CBG Gummies, with 5mg of CBG isolate per gummy. This product comes in a 45pk so you can choose 1 or 2 per day.
You’ve clearly been committed to quality and integrity of the product lines since Day 1 thru your CBD Lab Reports — what changes do you expect on the horizon with respect to industry quality standards and benchmarks?
Response from Steve >> I’m less concerned with those facts, and more concerned with making sure our hemp farms are rich of cannabinoids, so we can ensure our products are of the highest quality in the industry. With the cost of material nearly hitting the bottom, other companies might choose for the cheaper way. We will not take that path, and we’re committed to maintaining a manageable yearly crop that cycles through all of our products. This will allow us to continue to control our own supply, and also make sure purity keeps going up.
As one of the largest CBD Wholesale operators, how do see the CPG segment evolving?
Response from Steve >> We plan to offer affordable and reliable products that can easily be purchased on our CBD Wholesale website portal to purchase high quality CBD, CBG, CBN, or full spectrum products. This is where you can find many different types of hemp products.
